‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Star Jing Lusi Joins Rowan Atkinson’s ‘Man vs Bee’ Netflix Series


Rowan Atkinson’s quirky sounding series The man against the bee unveiled its cast, with boobies rich asian Star Jing Lusi is set to direct the upcoming Netflix comedy.

Created by Mister Bean star Atkinson and Johnny English writer Will Davies, the short-form series revolves around Trevor (Atkinson), a man who finds himself in a battle with a bee as he avoids irreparable damage to the luxurious mansion he keeps at home. Lusi will play Nina, the owner of the mansion, as mentioned above.

Lusi had her breakout role as Amanda Ling in the 2018 romantic comedy-drama boobies rich asian. The British actress also appeared in the BAFTA-nominated series London GangsPrime Video’s sci-fi drama The flowand Stan Lee’s Lucky Man. She is currently filming the spy film directed by Tom Harper Stone heart.

According to DeadlineLusi will be joined in The man against the bee by Julian Rhind-Tutt (Bridget Jones’ baby), who plays Nina’s husband Christian, Greg McHugh (Fresh meat), who plays the gardener, India Fowler (white lines) as Maddy, Claudie Blakley (Manhunt) as Trevor’s ex-wife, and Tom Basden (after life) as a police officer.

The show, which will premiere on June 24, is one of seven recent orders from Netflix UK. Other projects on the slate include the horror series cuckoo songbased on the novel by Frances Hardinge, football comedy The red zoneand Joe Cornish’s adaptation of Jonathan Stroud Lockwood & Co. novels.

The man against the bee will air nine episodes lasting 10 to 20 minutes. Atkinson’s HouseSitter Productions will produce. Davies serves as an executive producer alongside Chris Clark.
