Liffey Valley kicks off the summer holiday season with a three-day weekend of expert-led lifestyle events.
From Friday May 20 to Sunday May 22, Life in the Liffey Valley Sessions will feature a series of free, live talks from industry leaders, covering everything from fashion and fitness trends to skincare and parenting advice.
Additionally, this year’s program has been expanded to also include a session on health and wellness. What more could we ask for? Here’s what’s on the agenda.
Friday May 20
6 p.m. – summer fashion – Fashion journalist and stylist Corina Gaffey will break down her favorite summer looks from a range of Liffey Valley stores, with some handy tips and tricks on how to refresh your seasonal wardrobe for less.
Saturday May 21
2 p.m. – summer beauty – MUA and founder of True Beauty, Helpen Kate will take the stage to showcase some of her favorite seasonal looks.
Sunday May 22
10am – Free Yoga – In keeping with Sunday fashion, find your rhythm with a yoga class from the famous Irish brand Gym + Coffee, led by a yoga instructor Siobhan McDonnell Byrne. Book your place for this course HERE.
12 p.m. – Weaning Workshop – New parents, future parents or even experienced parents looking for a refresher course will benefit from an educational weaning workshop with ccertified infant nutritionist and founder of Mummy Cook Siobhan Berry.
2 p.m. – Well-being workshop – Psychologist and transformation coach Leisha McGrath will lead an informative workshop on how to solve your problems from within.
There are 50 places available each session and each will be on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to arrive early to take a seat. Discounts and giveaways will also be offered throughout the three days.

Fashion journalist and professional stylist, Corina Gaffey is well established on the international fashion scene. Her impressive repertoire includes celebrities like Laura Whitmore, Amy Huberman, Rozanna Purcell, Vogue Williams, Spencer Matthews and many more. Her expert work has also been featured in top fashion magazines like IMAGES Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia and Irish Tatler.
Beauty and style designer Aideen Kate has worked as a makeup artist in the industry for over a decade and is now well known as a beauty influencer on social media. Her most recent accolade was achieving her dream of founding her own cosmetics brand True Beauty by Aideen Kate. Aptly named, the brand champions the expression of the true self, which Aideen has touted as her mantra, aimed at promoting a positive view of body image and self-expression.
Siobhan McDonnell Byrne
When fitness trainer and certified yoga instructor Siobhan McDonnell Byrne isn’t teaching yoga classes, she can be spotted out in the wild, usually with her two mini-mes by her side — daughter Ruby and son Ted. She also specializes in pregnancy yoga and has experience teaching all levels of yogis, from beginner to advanced. On Sunday, she will lead a free introductory yoga class in partnership with the Irish brand Gym+Coffee.
Mom of two and certified infant nutritionist, Siobhan Berry started weaning classes in her home kitchen, educating moms on the diverse nutritional needs of children, from baby’s first solids to healthy eating habits for toddlers. Today, she is the founder of the award-winning global brand Mummy Cooks, which offers online courses, food solutions and three published cookbooks. She is also trained by SOS in feeding strategies for picky and problematic eaters and aims to give parents the confidence, skills and know-how to raise healthy and adventurous eaters.
Leisha McGrath wears many expert hats, including psychologist, transformation coach, and shaman. With over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, she has created a wellness community filled with people whom she has helped solve problems from the inside. Having recovered from chronic fatigue herself, she offers proven, accessible and transformative solutions to increase energy and happiness.
