Jamie Lee Curtis’ daughter Ruby Guest just got married – and the proud mother couldn’t contain her excitement.
On Sunday, Guest, 26, and his partner Kynthia said “yes” in a colorful outdoor ceremony, held in Curtis’ garden.
Mum Curtis, 63, who celebrated the nuptials, gushed over their love and celebration on instagram. She posted a photo of her bonding arms with the newlyweds. All three were dressed in cosplay outfits (short for “costume play”) to match the wedding’s World of Warcraft theme.
“THE WOMAN IS SWEET!” she clapped back in the caption. “Ruby and Kynthia 05/29/2022.”
She also uploaded a instantaneous of the couple kissing in their elaborate costumes.
“YES THEY DO AND HAVE DONE!” she wrote on Instagram. “MARRIED! RUBY and KYNTHIA 05/29/2022”
In her end post about the wedding, the scream queen shared a photo of herself holding a knife surrounded by a rainbow balloon. A second image showed a close-up of the knife next to a plate that read “Toilet”.
“YOU CANNOT DO THIS!” ” she says. “The ONLY thing left at the end of this whole GORGEOUS wedding, after it was all washed away, was that fucking BUTCHER’S KNIFE they cut the tiramisu wedding cake with! THE WIFE IS SWEET!”
She then added the release date for the next film in the “Halloween” movie franchise, “Halloween Ends,” which will hit theaters on October 14, 2022.
The ‘Halloween Kills’ star previously revealed that her youngest daughter’s wedding ceremony will feature characters from the popular role-playing series World of Warcraft in March.
Curtis stopped with “Jimmy Kimmel Live!and shared that her costume was chosen specifically by Guest and Kynthia.
“Her name is Jaina Proudmoore,” she explained at the time. “It’s from…it’s a game. She’s an admiral.”
The actor continued, “It’s really exciting. We’re going to have a nice picnic in the garden. I’m really happy that my two children got married in my garden, which brings me to tears.
Curtis and her husband, Christopher Guest – who she has been married to since 1984 – also share 35-year-old daughter Annie. Their eldest daughter had married in July 2019.
Guest came out as transgender to her parents in 2020.
In March, Curtis honored Guest on his birthday with a heartfelt and supportive message on instagram.
Alongside photos from his photoshoot with Deadline, Curtis wrote a lengthy caption that began, “Today is my trans daughter’s birthday. I am proud and grateful to be the parent of a trans child and send my support to all trans families across the United States who are being targeted by conservative legislatures right now.
At the end, she included the hashtag ‘ProtectTransKids’ and said, “As the proud parent of my trans daughter, I pledge to use my freedom of speech and right to vote to SUPPORT my child and ALL children trying to live FREELY as who they are. are.”
