SWEETEST COMPANY entered their first handicap last time out and came out of this race with some good positives, just as the race started in earnest they were caught a bit off guard and were a bit of a baby before they found their stride and hit the line well. With that under her belt, she can move on and earn that first board victory.

RAZDAN finally took the lead on the 14th time and only has his third start for the new coach who obviously found the key for him as it was an impressive performance when not strictly the best of an official point of view. He seems to have a bit in his favor dipping his toe into the handicap society from an unchanged brand.
I did really well last time on the course and the distance. He was sent home very far and paid the price in the last 150 meters as there was an incredibly strong headwind that night. DUE A WIN gets the perfect pitch right against the pit side rail, so he can be smuggled behind the leaders early on. You should think he has quite a bit of leeway from a low handicap of just 51.

Didn’t immediately shine for the transition to this trainer but TALBOT’s final efforts at this track have been much more similar, a snappy run here over tonight’s distance was followed by a disappointing little effort when he does pretty hot on the market but looking like it won’t last more than a mile. A more experienced climber takes over in the saddle and he can get a late hit for his master.
BALLYARE is going to need pretty much a better career to win from where he is on the handicap. However, it is entirely possible given the form of his last race when a solid second was posted by the winner who put in a good performance in a very hot contest behind Soldiers Minute. With a few of them likely to challenge a strong pace, it should set up well for a runner to pounce late.
It could be a good night for Joseph O’Brien, although he may have to play second fiddle to his brother in the big run of the night as Donnacha looks to hold all the aces with Absolute Ruler. OBLIVIATE has been caught between trips the last two times and is now looking to tackle its ideal mile distance. She has a nice position inside the stall and can take advantage of a nice handicap mark of 61.
