Liam Payne opened up about parenthood, talking about raising his son Bear – which he shares with Cheryl – during an interview with Logan Paul on the Impaulsive podcast recently
Liam Payne has suggested his multi-million pound fortune is all for his son Bear Payne, revealing he will hand over several businesses to his child when he is older.
The singer, 28, opened up about parenthood in the latest episode of the impulsive podcast earlier this week, during which he was interviewed by his host Logan Paul, 27.
The One Direction member spoke during the episode about being a father to son Bear, five, who he shares with his ex Cheryl, 38 – who was his partner from 2016 to 2018.
The entertainer – who is said to have a net worth of £46million – told the podcast host his money is for his young son and he even has plans for Bear’s future.
He said: “My life now is his, my money is his. I actually have several businesses running and I know he can lead one day if he wants to or [he can sell them]”.
Liam and Cheryl announced the birth of their son Bear in March 2017, with the now five-year-old described as a “lovely boy” by his father in the recent podcast interview.
He added he was ‘blessed’ to have the youngest in his life, with the award-winning musician describing being a parent as ‘the coolest thing’.
Liam said taking his son to school was one of his “favorite things”, revealing he lived close to Cheryl – who he described in the interview as “the best mum in the world”.
He says they’re friends and she gives him “total autonomy” to be able to do what he does, adding, “At the same time, I know [Bear is being] supported [by her].”
The singer – who auditioned for Cheryl on X Factor years before they started a relationship – said he ‘couldn’t ask for someone better’ to raise his son with.
