I rolled Mr. Gerhard during the week, he is an adorable and healthy horse. He won three of his four starts, but suffered a slight setback at Punchestown in April, finishing third behind Kilcruit and O’Toole. It should be rock solid, but the price suggests it. I will not discourage anyone from supporting him here.

i can’t see the past Golden thread for Gordon Elliott and Davy Russell. He dominated at Down Royal in October beating 16-liter Sea Sessions, then followed it up by beating Lunar Power at Fairyhouse in November. Lunar power might be the only threat, but I’m all over Doril.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
This will be Ferny hollowis the third round of the season. Etel River is the obvious threat, but I think Ferny Hollow will just have too much. Ferny Hollow won at Punchestown earlier this month, beating the 4-liter Sublime Heart. This race was after a 13 month layoff, so this victory has done him a lot of good. He will be impatient to go and I have no doubts.

I take the side Vanilla for Gavin Cromwell. It is too expensive considering its last two races. He ran very well behind Lifetime Ambition at Down Royan in October and followed with a victory at Punchestown in November.
He slammed Fancy Foundations on this occasion and won by an impressive 26 liters. I’m not saying he will do it again, but it’s a smart choice. If there is a question mark it might be the drop in trip but I like Vanillier’s chances in this one.
