I don’t think it will be easy for Little Big Bear. I like Slan Abhaile because I like horses that can win when they are not at their best. She did it at the Curragh in June. She was too lively, retired in the middle but she finished well to win. I was visually taken with it.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
I go for Neo Soul for Ger Lyons. He ran well behind Ano Syra in the Rockingham last month. He’s back on the trip, which will be fine and Colin Keane is back on board after not riding the Curragh last time out.

Mooneist is the one to beat. I was with her at Ascot when she finished fourth behind Nature Strip in the King’s Stand Stakes. Ladies Church also caught my eye. Why did John Murtagh throw it here with a 97 rating? He must think she’s a Group filly. You assume she’s there to make up the numbers. She deserves to be watched.

* This week’s FTHM podcast was recorded before Emily Upjohn retired from the Juddmonte Irish Oaks.
Emily Upjohn should clearly win, so you’re looking for something to chase her home. I would side Story for Aidan O’Brien. There’s no major reason to choose her over Magical Lagoon other than Aidan’s runners who always show great improvement.
