WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

I go for Sunday ruler for Rob Hornby and Tim Easterby. He had one race this season at Musselburgh, where he finished behind Zarzyni. He was pulled off and trapped that day, but he lost 2 pounds because of it. There’s a lot of rhythm right inside and in front of him. He’s going to do this to me!

I give getmegold a chance for Joe Tizzard. He won at Exeter in January on soft ground and ran well at Chepstow in February. He stopped last time out at Exeter on heavy ground but was saved for better ground and this one. He also has cheekbones for the first time.

I love Andrew Balding Koy Koy, who is making his first appearance this season. He was second to Saga at Ascot last September but beat Borntobealeader at Newbury a few weeks later. I know Borntobealeader is ranked in the 70s, but Koy Koy couldn’t have won more impressively. He could follow City Runner and pounce late.

It’s not a wonderful race. Star of India’s form was not cleared and he lost last time out at Newmarket. I keep coming back to Harrow. He won a nursery at York last August, beating Maglev, and he followed that up with a win at Doncaster in September. This year he finished second to Blue Trail at Kempton and then finished second again at Chelmsford. It is an improver in a weak race.

I love Albaflora for Rossa Ryan and Ralph Beckett and she could easily come out on top and win. If you are looking for one at a price, Alounak could be a good cry either way. He finished third behind Sonnyboyliston in the Ebor Handicap at York last year. John Leeper could also be a good shout with a punt each way.

I like Priory Pride. He started last season at the age of three because he didn’t race at the age of two. He finished third in his first and second starts at Chelmsford and Kempton, however, he won at Ripon and Haydock thereafter. Tom Marquand is also on board for William Haggas.
