WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
Obviously Dramatized was very, very impressive last time, Love Reigns will be jumping and burning from stand 5. So I’m going to tip the one in stand 4 right inside her, LADY TILBURY, who was really impressive at Tipperary last week. I think she will be able to hang on to the coattails of Love Reigns, she did very well at Tipperary, she will have to do even better at Ascot, but I will try her luck there behind the American filly of the other side of the track.
I will go with NAHANNI. Typically, horses beaten in the Derby have horrible records in that race, but the Nahanni derby ended shortly after the stalls opened. I got completely out of the middle of the pack, ran to the back and got knocked down. But I’ll go with Nahanni for this one.
I think just under 10f is fine for Lord North. It could be quite a tactical affair, but there are no real favorites. But I will try my luck to win STATE OF REST. He just got caught in the wrong place in the Tattersalls Gold Cup. In this run, Lord North gave a lot of high definition, which pushed him back and left the idle state a length further from his floor than it needed to be. So I’m going to give State of Rest a try for this one.

It seems on paper between Mother Earth and Saffron Beach, but Mother Earth’s run in the Lockinge has been really disappointing, and Safron Beach is coming back from a bit of a layoff. I was really taken by BASHKIROVA in Epsom and loved the way she finished that last U-turn. Bashkirova was impressive and she could still advance in this one.
I’m going for BLESS HIM from booth 22. The way he’ll be ridden and his racing style, he might squeeze him in the one-way spots. He will start out strong and Jamie Spencer will smuggle him into the race at the end of the business.

LITTLE BIG BEAR will take most of the market here and the 5f trip will fit. He beat Alexis Zorba at Naas in early May who hasn’t raced since. There isn’t much value in the price as nothing has stamped the form yet but I’ll stick with Little Big Bear.
