Party center disappointed at Down Royal last time behind Impervious but has a pretty solid bumper shape. Party Central will desperately want soft ground, so any rain between now and the race will help.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

It’s a very good race with Concertist, Dolcita and Magic Daze all in action. Magic Daze and Razzle Dazzle Love will set the tone, but I want Concertista to stay and hit late.

Allaho is the top-rated runner for Willie Mullins in this one and he was spectacular last year at Cheltenham, but worry is his first record. Looks like he needs a run first. Allen dispatch and Fakir Doudairies both have a race under their belt and Fakir Doudairies was impressive last time in Clonmel. It is not a horse to follow throughout the season but as for the winner of this race, I am on Fakir Doudairies.

I had the pleasure of riding Energumene Tuesday morning and he’s in very good shape. They will go to Cork fast and the jump is the biggest attribute of Energumene. Hope it holds.

Willie had no doubts about Ferny hollow. Sublime Heart and Thedevilscoachman seem to be the only real competition in this one. Ferny Hollow ran the hurdles once and beat Bob Olinger. He also beat Appreciate It. It looks quite special and its shape holds up.

Ruby Walsh’s Best Bets:

13:25 Punchestown – Festival Center
1:45 p.m. Cork – Concertist
14:00 Punchestown – Fakir Doudairies
2:20 p.m. Liège – Energumene
14:35 Punchestown – Ferny Hollow
