i am ready to forgive Il Ridoto for his run at Sandown in the Henry VIII in December. It was only a week after his victory at Newbury. He’s a better horse than his last run. He also won on heavy ground so I’ll give him a second chance.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
There was a lot to love Darver’s StarPunchestown’s last victory. I’m on his side again with Keith Donoghue on board for Gavin Cromwell.
Willie leads Robinnia, who has passed her hurdle mark on the fences. She won at Tramore and Galway but fell in the middle of those. She fell very early behind Concertista in Cork in December but she is a good filly. Minella Melody and Jeremys Flame will be fine too but I like Ballyshannon Rose. I like what she did in Thurles in October when she beat The Sliding Rock. She also ran a good race behind Vanillier at Punchestown before crashing. Jack Kennedy also takes over, which is a bonus.

I really want Destruval Pennant. The course will suit him perfectly and he is also good on soft ground. He is now preparing to jump and I was impressed with him at Newbury in November.
allaho is a good galloper and a good jumper. 2m4f seems to really suit him too. Fakir D’oudairies will make him leave but I will be disappointed if Allaho does not win.
