WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
Second in Paddy Power‘s antepost for the Novice Supreme hurdle, Constitution Hill was an impressive course and distance winner last month but faces five rivals including Paul Nicholls’ undefeated hurdle Mr. Glass.

Matt Chapman: That should be easy to sort out, with the very exciting CONSTITUTION HILL looking like a fabulous prospect for Nicky Henderson and Nico de Boinville. It’s how the five-year-old sped up last time on Sandown Hill that suggested he was something special and it’s not a big revival.
Mick fitzgerald: Some horses get stuck on the way up Sandown Hill, but CONSTITUTION HILL put in a very eye-catching performance winning a novice hurdle on this track in December. The race time and its final section were very impressive. He’s smart and will have to step that up into the first-year business now for the Tolworth Hurdle. However, he seems very capable of doing it and the opposition is rated between 125 and 132 and the last winners of this contest have all been rated 140 or higher. Coach Nicky Henderson would love to have two chances of winning another obstacle from the Top Novices at Cheltenham Festival and Constitution Hill will join Jonbon in this contest if he proves his worth here. Shallwehaveonemore went through his Ascot run like a clever horse when he was second behind Kandoo Kid. This race will bring in a lot of winners in time and while Kandoo Kid was very enthusiastic that day, if he learned to relax might be the real deal in time.
Time form: CONSTITUTION HILL looked like something out of the ordinary when he scored on his C&D hurdles debut and was eager to take the class leap in his stride. Shallwehaveonemore trained well when he finished second in a decent race at Ascot on his hurdles debut and is most feared ahead of Mr Glass, coached by Paul Nicholls.
Ruby walsh: HILL CONSTITUTION is unenforceable in my book. I loved what he did in Sandown the last time he beat Might I, who I thought wasn’t a bad horse after watching him win at Newton Abbot. I loved everything Constitution Hill did – the way he picked up, the way he jumped, the way he hit the line. I wouldn’t oppose him but would I support him at his expense? Probably not. Datsalrightgino fought really well under Gavin Sheehan to beat Jpr One at Cheltenham last time around and Mr. Glass’s form isn’t strong enough so that’s Constitution Hill for me. I’m not sure Datsalrightgino will follow Constitution Hill home, maybe Mr. Glass will. Paul Nicholls had a lot of options for him and he came here to lead him in a grade 1 and he usually doesn’t do that for a day.
